I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Wilmington Area Hospitality Association (WAHA).  We are pleased that you have chosen WAHA as a resource for professional and personal growth.

Our purpose is to promote the interest of the hospitality industry, including lodging, restaurants, and recreational attractions, in New Hanover County and the surrounding counties; to provide beneficial information to the membership; to provide a forum for the discussion of ideas and problems; to facilitate communication among members; and to promote professionalism within the hospitality industry.

Membership in WAHA will provide you with an opportunity to work closely with other area professionals in your community; on critical issues affecting the hospitality industry, common business interests, as well as networking opportunities. Along with our ongoing efforts to support the business community, we are very interested in supporting local hospitality education programs through our work, as hospitality professionals and leaders.

There are so many ways for you to get involved.  It is our hope, that each of our members will volunteer their time to contribute to a committee or initiative. WAHA is ultimately only as strong as its membership, and with so many professionals, so much expertise, and a great group of leaders, we expect great things in the years to come. Over the past several months we have continued to strengthen our organization, and with your help, we can achieve our goals.
